Intro

Hi! I'm Dr. K, Licensed Clinical Health Service Psychologist licensed in Tennessee and California. I have had a neurodivergent take on my work from the beginning, and always find my way back to working with people with autism and the people who support them. I love assessment and true engagement with my clients.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I started working with folks on the spectrum during my pre and post doc hours in New Haven CT, collaborating closely with Yale Child Study Center to create a new program for children. I love the challenge of working with new aspects of this field, including new delivery methods like Telehealth.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

Meeting people where they are is a key aspect of my approach and I find myself learning so much all the time from the work I do and the people I connect with. My personal journey has included an experience in the gifted and talented space leading me to have an interest in high IQ abilities. I see everyone as bringing the best of themselves to the table and try to match that energy!
