Meet Our Team
Our team of therapists and psychologists has extensive experience working with autistic adults.
I'm a multiracial, queer, nonbinary clinical psychologist who specializes in intersecting identities. I work with a lot of folks who are queer, trans, racial or ethnic minorities, and neurodivergent. I have a passion for helping clients reduce anxiety, stress, confusion, sadness, and pain - so that they can live more fulfilling, authentic, and happy lives. I am licensed in Colorado, Texas, and a member of PSYPACT so I can see clients from 42 states.
I am a licensed psychologist and licensed specialist in school psychology with 30+ years of experience in psychological evaluation, counseling, special education programming, and training. During my career in public schools, I developed and published an anti-bullying curriculum, the goal of which was to create a supportive community for autistic students, as well as LGBTQIA+ plus students and others who were marginalized for various reasons. Based on empowering bystanders, students participating in the pilot program completed over 4000 interventions on behalf of victims of bullying.
I graduated from Nova Southeastern University's doctoral program in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) with a concentration in clinical neuropsychology. During which, I completed a predoctoral clinical internship in San Jose, CA within AACI's Adult and Older Adult Program. Within said program, I provided culturally sensitive and culturally appropriate mental health services (e.g., individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, neuropsychological evaluations, etc.) to the underserved members of Santa Clara County in a trauma-informed and holistic manner. I then completed a two-year postdoctoral residency in Scottsdale, AZ at the Nicholls Group. At this private practice, I primarily provided individual psychotherapy and completed neuropsychological evaluations to individuals across the lifespan. I am a full-time licensed psychologist and department manager for the psychological testing department at an outpatient mental health clinic. I am responsible for managing administrative staff, delegating clinical responsibilities to psychometrists, managing resources, organizing schedules, and completing neuropsychological evaluations to provide diagnostic clarity for a broad range of referral questions (e.g., ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, PTSD, etc.).
Hola! I am a bilingual Spanish-speaking licensed psychologist in the state of Florida. My journey of assessing diverse individuals for accurate diagnostic clarification and treatment recommendations began well before licensure. Especially, I strive to break mental health stigma in neurodivergent communities by providing comprehensive and culturally-informed psychological evaluations.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor for the state of Texas. As an introduction to my counseling, I have previously worked in a college and corporate settings, as well as psychiatric hospital and medical clinics. In these settings, I have also gained knowledge on tools that can help a person achieve their full potential. My main mode of therapy is a collaborative one. I work from a holistic standpoint, in that I look at various aspects of a person’s life, such as their family, career, friends, etc., and how they fit together to form the individual. I am also a “person-centered” therapist, in that my approach to the client is to provide an empathetic and non-judgmental viewpoint that will help a person achieve their potential. I also focus on a “cognitive” approach, such as examining how our thoughts can influence our emotions and our actions.
