Jaylyn Shifrin

Hi, my name is Jaylyn and I am a clinical psychologist, licensed in Georgia. Additionally, I have an active PsyPact license which allows me to provider Telehealth services to clients in 40+ states. I completed my undergraduate training at the University of Georgia and my graduate training at the University of Florida. Next, I obtained my postdoctoral training at the veteran's administration (VA) in Connecticut. My passion is expanding access to (equitable and effective) care for underserved populations through trauma-informed care.

I believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality, patient centered care, which includes mental health care. I joined Prosper Health so I can help others receive the care they need in a way that is nonjudgmental, collaborative, and culturally-responsive.

My work is most rewarding when I help my clients feel validated, supported, and empowered along each step of the process. I meet my clients where they are and respect their autonomy while honoring their lived experiences. My goal is to actively collaborate with my clients to develop a plan of care that reflects their unique strengths, goals, and values.
