Hello. My name is Vanessa Ramirez. I'm a Clinical Psychologist based out of Miami, Florida. I have worked with neurodivergent populations for several years, mainly completing psychological evaluations and screenings at clinics and non-profit organizations. I am passionate about providing quality services for neurodivergent individuals.
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?
My son was diagnosed with Autism at an early age. I have seen the improvement in his social skills from receiving quality care.
How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?
I embrace people that have a different way or viewing and being in the world. I respect and value diversity and believe that it brings incredible value. I meet everyone where they are at and work in a way that feels comfortable to them.
