Intro
I graduated from Nova Southeastern University's doctoral program in clinical psychology (Psy.D.) with a concentration in clinical neuropsychology. During which, I completed a predoctoral clinical internship in San Jose, CA within AACI's Adult and Older Adult Program. Within said program, I provided culturally sensitive and culturally appropriate mental health services (e.g., individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, neuropsychological evaluations, etc.) to the underserved members of Santa Clara County in a trauma-informed and holistic manner. I then completed a two-year postdoctoral residency in Scottsdale, AZ at the Nicholls Group. At this private practice, I primarily provided individual psychotherapy and completed neuropsychological evaluations to individuals across the lifespan. I am a full-time licensed psychologist and department manager for the psychological testing department at an outpatient mental health clinic. I am responsible for managing administrative staff, delegating clinical responsibilities to psychometrists, managing resources, organizing schedules, and completing neuropsychological evaluations to provide diagnostic clarity for a broad range of referral questions (e.g., ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, bipolar disorder, PTSD, etc.).
Like so many others, I spent much of my life coping with my own symptoms without a diagnosis, treatment, and accommodation. I wasn't diagnosed with ADHD until 5 years ago. Hopefully, I might validate, clarify, and support you on your own mental health journey.
For the past 3 years, I have conducted neuropsychological evaluations to clarify referral questions concerning autism spectrum disorder for people across the lifespan. I have specifically worked with many misdiagnosed or undiagnosed adults. My approach focuses on providing neurodiversity-affirming culturally-appropriate mental health services with the goal of providing hope and empowering you.
