Hello! I'm Dr. Amanda Hannon, a Licensed Clinical Psychologist with the state of Georgia. I hold my Telehealth Psychology License in Florida and I am credentialed with PsyPact, allowing me to provide Telehealth services in eligible states. In my work, I bring a deep commitment to understanding and supporting those who seek clarity and healing. I believe that psychological assessment is more than just a diagnosis—it’s a powerful tool for self-discovery, validation, and a path forward. My approach is rooted in empathy, curiosity, and collaboration, ensuring that each person I work with feels heard, valued, and empowered.
I’ve always been drawn to working with neurodivergent individuals because I see the profound impact that understanding and validation can have on self-acceptance and growth. Many of my clients have spent years feeling misunderstood or struggling to fit into systems that weren’t built with their unique strengths in mind. My goal is to change that narrative by providing comprehensive, affirming assessments that help neurodivergent adults better understand themselves, access the right support, and embrace their differences as strengths. I believe that with the right insights and guidance, every individual can navigate the world in a way that honors their authentic self.
My approach is deeply rooted in compassion and affirmation, focusing on uncovering and building upon each individual’s unique strengths rather than solely addressing challenges. I believe that neurodivergence is not something to be “fixed” but rather understood, embraced, and nurtured. In my assessments, I take the time to truly listen, helping clients recognize the innate abilities and perspectives that set them apart. By reframing struggles as differences rather than deficits, I empower individuals to navigate life in a way that aligns with their strengths, values, and authentic selves. My commitment is to provide a validating and supportive space where clients can move beyond self-doubt and towards a deeper appreciation of their own potential.
