Intro
Hi there! My name is Chloe, and I am a Licensed Psychologist in Texas and California. I completed my Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) at Azusa Pacific University, an American Psychological Association (APA) accredited graduate program. While working toward my degree, I served as the President of the student-led Diversity Committee at my university. I am passionate about working with people from diverse cultural and religious backgrounds as well as individuals of all sexual orientations and gender identities. I joined Prosper Health because I am excited about transforming the landscape of mental health services for neurodivergent folks, and making services more accessible. Thank you for taking a moment to learn about me; I look forward to working with you!
I have had the privilege of working with neurodivergent individuals in a variety of settings, including schools, private practice, community mental health, forensic hospitals and correctional facilities. In some of these settings, I have witnessed a misconception that neurodivergence a deficit, rather than a unique strength. My passion and motivation for working with neurodivergent clients stems from the clinical experiences I've had in which my clients consistently demonstrate remarkable abilities and perspectives that enrich our understanding of human diversity. These experiences have reinforced my belief that neurodivergence should be embraced and celebrated.
In my work with neurodivergent clients, what has consistently stood out is the unique perspectives and strengths that you bring to each situation. Neurodivergent individuals are my favorite population to work with, and I see neurodivergence as a superpower. The way neurodivergent people experience the world adds so much value in challenging traditional thinking, seeing things from unique perspectives, and coming up with novel approaches to solving problems in a creative way. I strive to create an environment where you feel seen and valued for who you are.
