Intro
I am a licensed psychologist (Tennessee, North Carolina, Mississippi, Minnesota) with more than 10 years of specialized experience in the assessment and treatment of autism and neurodevelopmental experiences. Additionally, I have an active PsyPact license which allows me to provide services to clients in 40+ states. I have worked in hospital, university, and private practice settings and found a passion for working with neurodiverse individuals. In my work, I strive to provide client-centered, identity-affirming, and multiculturally-aware care.
Much of my work has involved providing therapy and assessment services to folks with marginalized and/or minority identities, particularly those with experiences of trauma, anxiety, and addiction. Through this work, I became aware of the high rates of adverse life experiences and psychological suffering among neurodiverse individuals. Providing accurate diagnosis and identity-affirming treatment to adults on the autism spectrum has been an honor and a rewarding part of my career.
I have two primary aims in my work as a psychologist. First, I strive to help folks heal from pain created by misinformation, stigma, and limitations about themselves. Second, I aim to empower clients to unapologetically live as their authentic selves, to identify and embrace the “superpower” associated with their diagnosis, and to fiercely align themselves with their life values and purpose.
