Steven Powell

Hello! I am a licensed psychologist in North Carolina. I completed my doctoral training at Oklahoma State University, my predoctoral internship in Arizona, and my postdoctoral fellowship in North Carolina. My work has primarily been in assessment and therapy for children, both autistic and neurotypical, between ages 2-17, and I am excited to be able to expand to provide support across the lifespan!

My training and experiences have involved working with children and their families in school and clinical settings, and many of the conversations that I have found gratifying have involved parents' self-reflection on the sorts of questions asked of them regarding their children. "Maybe I should be tested too?" is a very common sentiment, and it can be difficult to access diagnostic assessment and therapy for adults. I am pleased to be a part of the Prosper Health team to increase access to these supports!
