About
Hello! I am Dr. Miles, a licensed clinical and school psychologist. I reside and am licensed in Colorado. My past training has included work in schools with grades K-12, community mental heath, and residential programming. I am passionate about helping teens and adults with navigating the mental health system, getting the correct diagnosis, and finding treatment that fits their individual needs.
I began working with the autistic community through the public school systems in 2017. Throughout my time in schools, I learned more about the complexities that come with diagnosing autism and I strived to learn more whenever I could. I know that our collective knowledge on autism screening and diagnosis is continuing to grow and expand and I am excited to be a part of a team that is prioritizing testing for adults who may not have had the same access earlier in life.
My goal with every client that I see is to make them feel comfortable and heard. Entering into a therapeutic relationship is a very individualized and personal journey and I want to make sure people are feeling supported in the process. Every single person has strengths and aspects of their personality that can help them during the more difficult times in life. It is my hope that I can help clients find what those are and how they can use those strengths to reach their future goals, whatever they may be.
