Intro

With over 20 years of experience as a Licensed Professional Counselor, I am committed to supporting individuals on their journey toward healing and personal growth. Licensed in Georgia, Maryland, Florida, and Connecticut, I specialize in working with clients facing trauma, anxiety, depression, and women’s issues. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. Whether you are navigating a challenging life transition or working through long-standing emotional struggles, I provide a safe, supportive space to explore, heal, and thrive.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

As a counselor, a mother of a neurodivergent son, and person living with ADD, I am deeply passionate about supporting neurodivergent individuals because I recognize the beauty, complexity, and strength that comes with neurodivergence. This passion stems from a desire to create spaces where individuals feel truly seen, understood, and supported—not pressured to mask or conform to neurotypical expectations.Working with this community is not just about offering support—it's about embracing different ways of thinking and being, and challenging outdated systems that may not serve everyone equally. For myself, it's both a calling and a privilege to walk alongside neurodivergent individuals as they build fulfilling, authentic lives.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

Neurodivergent individuals often face unique challenges, not only in navigating the world but also in how the world responds to them. As a professional counselor, I am committed to helping individuals build self-understanding and self-compassion, while also advocating for greater acceptance and inclusion. By honoring each person’s communication style, sensory needs, and cognitive processes, I am able to foster growth, confidence, and emotional well-being.
