Intro

Hi! I am a clinical psychologist who is licensed in Georgia. I also have PSYPACT licensure that allows me to practice in many other states. I specialize in evaluating neurodevelopmental disorders, such as autism spectrum disorder and ADHD. I have specialized training as a neuropsychologist, and I have been providing neuropsychological evaluations for over 15 years.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I have been working with the autistic community for over 10 years. I am passionate about this work, as I have close family members that are neurodivergent. My personal experiences with my family have helped me grow as a psychologist and as an advocate.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

It is important for me to hear my clients, when they discuss their experiences. Sometimes people can minimize what someone is experiencing because it seems unusual or different than the "norm." I acknowledge, my clients' experiences may be unique or much different than mine, but the goal is to understand their experience as fully as I can and to understand the gravity in which it impacts them.
