Intro
My name is Carley and I am a mental health counselor licensed in Colorado. I completed my undergraduate degree at Duke University, specializing in Secondary Education with a focus in integrated learning support, and completed my graduate degree at Grand Canyon University. My training includes work in learning support classrooms with grades 6-8 and community mental health with a primary focus on neurodivergent clients.
I sought out my counseling degree after many years of working with neurodivergent adolescents and desiring the skills to provide assistance with the multitude of challenges students reported. Following my graduate degree, I completed my internship work with a program that solely focused on neurodivergent adults and enjoyed my work so completely, never left the program. I am thrilled to be a part of a team where I can continue to provide counseling services that corresponds with where my passion lies.
Every individual is unique in their experience, journey, and perspective, which translates into customizing therapeutic strategies so that they meet the needs of the client. I have over 6 years experience working with neurodivergent adults and have learned that each individual has strengths that are specific to them and when these traits are identified and fostered, clients thrive.
