Intro
Hi there! I'm Cassie, and I'm so glad you're here. As a licensed mental health counselor based in Florida, my passion lies in creating safe, nurturing spaces where you can genuinely explore and heal. I deeply understand how overwhelming life's challenges can feel, especially when you're navigating anxiety, trauma, or major life transitions. My goal is to help you rediscover your strengths and find a sense of balance and peace. Together, we'll work to overcome hurdles, build resilience, and foster self-compassion. I'm here to listen, support, and guide you every step of the way.
My journey into mental health counseling began with a deep curiosity about people—their stories, their challenges, and the unique ways they make sense of the world. Over time, that curiosity grew into a passion for supporting neurodivergent individuals, especially those who may have spent much of their lives feeling misunderstood or out of step. As a neurodivergent adult myself—diagnosed in my 30s—I know how profoundly a late diagnosis can shift the way you understand yourself, your past, and your needs moving forward. Being a woman, that diagnosis carried even more complexity and healing. That lived experience shapes the way I show up for my clients—with authenticity, empathy, and an unwavering belief in the value of neurodiversity. My mission is to help you feel seen, supported, and celebrated exactly as you are.
In my work, I focus on honoring the unique strengths and inner wisdom each person already carries. Therapy with me isn’t about "fixing" what’s wrong—it's about recognizing what’s already right and nurturing it. I approach each session with compassion and curiosity, centering your voice and your lived experience. Whether we’re exploring identity, sensory sensitivities, executive functioning, or simply making sense of the world in your own way, I see you as the expert in your life. My role is to walk alongside you as you uncover new ways to thrive, build on what makes you strong, and reconnect with your inherent worth. You deserve to take up space, to be understood, and to live fully as yourself—and I’m here to support you in doing just that.
