Hello! My name is Dr. Chandler Puhy and I am a clinical psychologist who specializes in the identification of neurodevelopmental differences such as autism and ADHD. I now live in my home state of Georgia after a few years in the beautiful states of Missouri and Pennsylvania. As a result, I am a licensed provider in Missouri and Pennsylvania with Georgia licensure coming soon. I love helping people learn more about themselves, which is why conducting assessments is so fulfilling.
I stumbled onto this path by accident in undergrad when I joined a child development lab at Georgia State University. I worked on a study that helped develop methods for early identification of children with autism and loved working with the families who participated. A few years later in graduate school I found myself researching (again by accident!) the intersection of autism and trauma and was inspired by the stories of our participants and the realization that the world still has so much to learn about autism.
Every individual deserves the opportunity to identify and build upon their strengths in order to build a life that is meaningful to them. Individuals with neurodivergence often uncover hidden "superpowers" conferred by their neurodivergence if they learn where to look and how to effectively manage challenges. I believe in meeting folks where they are and helping connect them with the resources to get them where they want to go.
