Intro

Hello! My name is Christine and I am a licensed psychologist practicing in the state of New York.  I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist and have worked with a very diverse population of amazing people helping them to better understand their unique strengths and challenges.  I am so excited to be able to use my training and experience here at Prosper Health.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I have previously worked  in a residential/school program for children and adolescents with autism and other developmental disorders. It was a great experience for me being able to see each individual person in all the different settings they journey through each day - home, school, and in the residences.  In the past few years I have seen individuals having to deal with waits of at least a year just to get an assessment and want to be a part of the solution for this so people can move on through their life journey.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I love working with people who have their own unique set of abilities, strengths, and interests.  I bring an affirming and strengths-based approach to my work by helping people to recognize and utilize their uniqueness, promoting self-advocacy, autonomy, and confidence in what they can achieve in life.
