About

Hi, my name is Dr. Savage. I am a counseling psychologist, and I love what I do! I have vast experience in many different settings, which allows me to assess with an open mind and heart. When I assess, I look at the full context of my clients. I'm currently licensed in Connecticut, Georgia, and PSYPACT. PSYPACT allows me to provide services to clients in 42+ states.

Education & Licensure
PhD in Counseling Psychology from the University of Georgia; Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Georgia State University; Bachelors in Sociology from Georgia State University
Treatment Approach
What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I have been passionate about working with the autistic community since my best friend's son was diagnosed as autistic. I realized that many of the people assigning the diagnosis didn't look like me, and I felt that representation was necessary for my community. As a late-diagnosed neurodivergent, I love that Prosper is providing a space for autistic adults.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

Learning that you have an autism diagnosis can be life-changing. I help people develop the language and skills necessary to thrive. Everyone has strengths, and as a psychologist, I help clients identify what they are. I am committed to helping each client advocate for themselves within their context.
