Intro

Hi, my name is Georgia! I’m a psychologist licensed in PA, MO, and via PsyPact (which allows me to practice Telehealth in most states).  I went to graduate school to become a school psychologist, and have lots of experience helping folks learn more about themselves through collaborative assessment. I live in Southwestern Illinois with my partner, two dogs, and two cats and we enjoy spending time outside and with family.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I’ve had the pleasure of working with people from so many walks of life, including those who identify as neurodivergent and autistic. I think there is real value in better understanding yourself and I pride myself on creating trusting, honest spaces, even when the professional relationship is relatively brief. I think it is important for everyone to know that they bring many strengths to the table, even amidst struggle, and I work hard to focus on the positives while helping clients figure out where they want to go next.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My experience working in schools, community, and private practice have highlighted that there is not a “one-size fits all” approach, and that’s ok! Asking folks to fit a specific mold or adhere to certain expectations can limit a person’s unique expression and I truly feel that the more open we become to “different” the more likely we are to see people thrive in all kinds of spaces. I’m here to help highlight that individuality and build on strengths, while also taking note of goals and hopes for the future.
