Jonathan Kanegson

Hello!  I am a board-certified clinical psychologist licensed in California, Florida, Massachusetts, and New York.  Throughout my career, I have worked with individuals diagnosed with autism. More recently, I have worked in a forensic setting conducting assessments, but I have also used assessment skills to help diagnose individuals with autism.

I have worked with and have had many clients who are autistic or neurodivergent.  I have enjoyed working with the autistic/neurodivergent community, and I look forward to providing my assessment skills to those in the autistic/neurodivergent community.

My therapy and assessment philosophy always includes focusing on my client's strengths. This approach has helped my clients with self-acceptance, which in turn has helped my clients develop insight and a more positive outlook.  This philosophy was somewhat born out of my experiences of facing challenges and overcoming them by focussing on my strengths.
