Intro
Hello! I am licensed clinical psychologist in the states of Florida and Arizona and have additional expertise in the field of clinical neuropsychology. Additionally, I have a valid PsyPact license which allows me to provider services to clients in 40+ states. I have over 20 years of experience working across inpatient, outpatient, clinic- and school-based settings with autistic clients of all ages.
My interest in working with autistic/neurodivergent clients dates back to my undergraduate years, when I worked part-time as a personal assistant for several neurodivergent adults. They taught me that resilience and strength are often truly boundless in people others may view as severely challenged. Everyone has the capacity for a fulfilling and joyful life, and I believe Prosper's mission of helping others identify and capitalize on their strengths is a great way to support that end goal.
My experience as a parent of a neurodivergent child has given me additional perspective into the need for advocacy. This is particularly true for adults as they achieve independence and life's demands can exceed coping strategies, sometimes for the first time. I believe helping autistic adults understand, accept, and take pride in their unique talents and perspectives is a critical step in supporting their right to live in a world that celebrates their gifts.
