Intro
I am a licensed clinical psychologist and Florida native, who is committed to helping you learn about yourself and understand the way your mind works. I am grateful for the opportunity to help the neurodivergent community by applying my strong background in neuropsychological assessment.
My passion for working with the autistic community began during my role as a behavior therapist for autistic children over ten years ago. I continued to work with the autistic population through individual therapy and social skills groups during my graduate school training. Integrating and honing these skills, I completed my postdoctoral residency providing evaluations and therapy for autism, ADHD, and learning disorders.
I know that feeling and being different from "the norm" can come along with difficulties in relationships, school, work, and self-care. Masking to fit in is a natural response that can be hard to unlearn. I believe having the correct diagnosis is an important step in understanding who you are, finding solutions to your challenges, and learning to advocate for yourself. My approach is rooted in fostering self-acceptance through working with your differences rather than trying to change them.
