Stephanie Allen

My name is Stephanie Allen. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I am licensed in 2 States: Texas and Washington. I specialize in Seniors and Trauma Therapy. I am skilled to work with all kinds of trauma, abuse, family-of-origin issues, chronic pain, life/stress issues depression, and anxiety. I have worked in private practice with community mental health, neurodivergent boys group homes, specialized case management, inpatient, hospital diversion, detoxification, and court settings. I have an in-depth understanding of the dynamics of all families resulting from chemical dependency, mental illness, and domestic violence.

I believe that you are the best authority on your own healing process. I work with you on the premise that your body and mind move toward healing as fast or as slow as you allow it. I have worked with many neurodivergent clients over the years. I have found that client willingness to change is far more important than any label, uplifting or derogatory.

I understand that the world we are living in is strange and unnerving. Everyday problems seem huge, frustrating and unsolvable. Having worked with teenage boys in group homes and watching them graduate with no continuing services, is heartbreaking and wrong. With Prosper Health, I am hoping to help change this and the attitudes that surround us, one mind at a time.
