Intro

Welcome! My name is Tracy Marsh (she/her), and I’m so glad you found your way to Prosper. I’m a licensed psychologist in California with a doctorate in counseling psychology, and I bring over 25 years of experience in higher education as a university faculty member. I specialize in psychological assessment for a wide range of neurodiverse clients. I understand that taking this step can feel exciting and uncertain, and I’m here to provide a warm, supportive environment where we can explore your unique strengths and needs together.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I was inspired to focus on autistic adults after witnessing how often their strengths, perspectives, and needs are overlooked or misunderstood. There’s immense value in helping someone gain clarity about who they are, recognizing not just the challenges but also the rich capabilities that come with being on the spectrum. Supporting adults as they navigate this process—and seeing them feel truly understood—has been incredibly rewarding. It’s a privilege to be part of that journey toward self-acceptance, connection, and growth.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

My background in counseling psychology has shown me the importance of honoring everyone’s unique gifts and abilities throughout assessment and diagnosis. When I begin the evaluation process, I prioritize recognizing the strengths clients bring—such as creative thinking, empathy, or problem-solving—while also taking time to understand the obstacles they may face. Creating a supportive, affirming environment, I help individuals feel seen and respected, fostering clearer self-awareness and confidence in who they are.
