Intro

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with over 25 years of clinical experience. My career has been focused primarily on working with adults and helping them to succeed, achieve, and explore their thoughts and feelings regarding their life challenges.  Common concerns that I have successfully worked with include anxiety and depression, trauma and relationship issues, as well as self-esteem issues and developing increased compassion and confidence. I have a passion for helping individuals meet their goals, improve the quality of their life, and feel better about who they are and the choices they are making day-to-day.

What motivated you to specialize in working with autistic adults?

I am interested in helping individuals accept themselves and improve their self-esteem while still attending to those areas in life that could use change and/or improved functioning. I want to help folks who feel different and out-of-place embrace those different parts of the self while still learning different strategies that will assist their everyday experience.

How do you bring a strengths-based, affirming approach to your client work?

I believe that a valuable part of the process of therapy is to identify and enhance those strengths and positive characteristics that are often too easily ignored, particularly when one is struggling in an area of their life.  My goal is to provide a safe and supportive space to help you heal and do the work to improve those areas of your life that need that attention.
